Agriculture

The Agricultural farm is one of the fondest areas of the Prison.  Not only are there acres of planted vegetables and ground food, but the cows, sheep, horses, chickens and pigs convey an aura of nature and tranquility.

At present, the prison now produces its own poultry for consumption.  Most of the vegetables needed are produced right here, except for a few which are purchased from the local market.

Overall, the type of soil present on the farm is not very suitable for large scale farming.  One of our considerations for the future is to relocate the prison farm to fertile grounds.
