Tailor Shop
Tailoring is one of the oldest of all prison activities. Although the number of inmates involved here is far fewer than in other trades, the production generated from the tailor shop is significant.
At present, the prison tailor sews all the uniforms for prison staff, both officers and civilian employees. It produces covers for every bed sponges for every inmate, and spreads for beds at the medical center.
The tailor shop has stitched uniforms for The Police Department and the Belize Defense Force. Custom orders are accepted form individuals.
